I'm currently looking for a concrete-like quartz as well, evdryst, albeit a lighter-hued one. Concrete is great in both kitchens and bathroom because it is so heat resistant. A quartz countertop may not the best place for appliances that generate a lot of heat, like toaster ovens or metal rice cookers.
