Formica Countertop No Backsplash. The durable laminate surface resists scrape or scuffs, and requires no polishing or buffing. I am trying to find a place that stocks and sells post-form Formica kitchen countertops that have the front edge finished, but do not have a raised backsplash.
Recently I ran into an interesting situation. A standard backsplash extends up enough from the back of the countertop to a height that will protect the wall from most splatters or spills, without overwhelming the space. It appears as if it is glued to the countertop.
My question is how do I remove the existing backsplash from the wall.
Have a comment or question on my backsplash project?
Formica countertops that look like granite or marble will work well in classic kitchen styles. I have a length of formica counter top that has been mounted for several years. You can also use this to glue down formica to countertops.
