There are a lot of options out there, but the one we're really excited about is concrete. There are two basic ways concrete countertops are made: offsite, using a precast frame and then installing the completed piece, or onsite, hand-poured directly onto the cabinets and finished in place with a hand trowel. All you need to do is wax it, and wipe it down with a pH cleaner.
